Article 7 – Your rights regarding your data

Pursuant to Article 13, paragraph 2, sub b GDPR, everyone has the right to access and rectify or erase their personal data or restrict the processing concerning them, as well as the right to object to the processing and the right to data portability. Each request must be accompanied by a copy of a valid identity document, on which you have signed, and indicating the address at which we can contact you. Within 1 month of the submitted request, you will receive a response to your request. Depending on the complexity of the requests and the number of requests, this period may be extended by 2 months if necessary.

Article 8 – Processing of personal data

In case of a violation of any laws or regulations, of which the visitor is suspected and for which the authorities require personal data collected by the administrator, this data will be provided to them after an explicit and motivated request from those authorities, after which these personal data will no longer be subject to the protection of the provisions of this privacy statement.

If certain information is necessary to access specific features of the website, the controller will indicate the mandatory nature of this information at the time of requesting the data.

Gymnastics Association Voorwaarts processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Registering as a member of Gymnastics Association Voorwaarts
  • Registering as a member of the Royal Dutch Gymnastics Union (KNGU)
  • Signing up for activities of and/or on behalf of Voorwaarts (e.g., camp, internal competitions)
  • Handling your (membership fee) payments
  • Organizing (sports) activities of Gymnastics Association Voorwaarts

Article 9 – Commercial offers

If you come across any personal data during your visit to the website, you should refrain from collecting or any other unauthorized use, as well as any act that constitutes a violation of the privacy of those person(s). The administrator is in no way responsible in the situations mentioned above.

Article 10 – Data retention period

Gymnastics Association Voorwaarts will not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

  • Membership: If you become a member during the term of the membership. If you do not become a member, your data will be deleted as soon as possible within 6 months.
  • Administration: During the term of the agreement and up to 2 years thereafter. Then only in the financial administration for 7 years.
  • Contacting after termination of membership: For inviting former members to events such as a reunion or special events and activities. Maximum 10 years, as long as consent has not been withdrawn. Upon request, data can be deleted or the retention period can be extended.
  • Camera images and sound: The primary purpose is sports technical support. The images are displayed on-site for visual feedback and analysis. Image material under the management of Gymnastics Association Veldhoven is not shared with third parties unless explicit consent is obtained from all athletes appearing in the footage.

The data collected by the website administrator will be used and stored for the duration as determined by law.

No rights can be derived from the images that belong to the products offered on the website.

Article 13 – Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms. The court of the residence of the administrator has exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes regarding these terms unless a legal exception applies.
